Tubbercurry Engineering is the sole Irish agent for EVAC Vacuum Drainage Systems.  We work closely with our partners in the UK and have installed several EVAC systems in Ireland.

Operation

EVAC is the world leader in the supply of vacuum waste collecting systems in the building industry.  The system uses differential air pressure to create flow, in this respect a vacuum waste system is essentially a negative pressure system consisting of a vacuum collection plant, vacuum interface valves / collections boxes and vacuum pipework.

The vacuum collection plant consisted of vacuum pumps, to maintain a vacuum on the system, a normally closed valve is located at the top of each collection box to ensure vacuum is maintained.

All the above have Vacuum condensate drainage form refrigeration / frozen food cabinets.

Dundrum Shopping Centre

A duplex duty/standby Vacuum plant is installed in building No. 9 in Dundrum Shopping Centre.  The system serves several stores, and includes vacuum plant, WC’s, interface boxes, buffer kits and comprehensive 16 bar pressure rings main to facilitate.
